As is well-known, Vidya Balan is playing the late sultry screen siren, Silk Smitha, in the Hindi film 'The Dirty Picture'.  As if to offer a tribute to the late voluptuous queen, the producers are planning to release the film on her birthday, December 2.  The film also stars Emraan Hashmi.
Even before its release, the film has become quite popular among the sections who have known the controversial name.  Besides featuring some bold scenes, the film has an  emotional angle to it too.
Directed by Milan Luthria, the film also sees Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor doing  big roles.
