Venus Williams' New Outfit - Sexy or Inappropriate?

We knew Venus Williams have her own clothing line, that's why she always looks so fashionable on the tennis court. But, did she took it too far this time?

On this 2010 French Open Grand Slam series, she wore a new outfit which looks like corset or a tutu. But, that's not what made it controversial. The outfit was looked like a see-through and that Venus Williams looked like she was not wore any underwear. That was because she used a skin-colored undies.

Venus wore a similar outfit last month at Sony Ericsson Open and both are branded as part of her EleVen clothing line, which is designed for on or off the court activities.




Apparently this new outfit didn't help with her performance. She was beaten by Russian player, Nadia Petrova, only in the 4th round of the championship. At least, during her participation in this tournament, she gained a lot attention from the crowd. The French, being French, naturally sent some whistles raining down on Williams, and the famous French saying: "Ooh-la-la." on many lips.

This was not the first time Shawn Johnson did a first pitch for a baseball game. She threw out a first pitch at Dodger Stadium while doing promo work for "Dancing With The Stars" before, and while it wasn't exactly a hit, it was much better than her last throw.

In her defense, "That's why I'm a gymnast," she told KCCI afterward.

Martina Navratilova Fights Cancer with Sports

The tennis legend, Martina Navratilova (53), was diagnosed having a breast cancer on last February. She made a public announcement about her illness on "Good Morning America" last month. She decided to speak publicly about her condition to encourage women to get tested.

"I'm this healthy person, I've been healthy all my life, and all of a sudden I have cancer. Are you kidding me?" - Martina Navratilova

As part of her treatment, she will undergo six weeks of radiation started this May. Still in her second week of the therapy she has prepared herself to swing her tennis racquet again. “I am in fact cancer free, that was taken out when I had the lumpectomy about six weeks ago. I just started radiation last week,” she said on a conference call.




Martina Navratilova, 18-time Grand Slam singles champion, has been practicing at Roland Garros with doubles partner Jana Novatna ahead of the four-team mini-tournament they’ll participate in during the second week of the French Open. The tournament will be started May 23 in Paris.

Navratilova said her condition and treatment won’t affect her busy schedule. In March, after the surgery, she completed a 25- mile bike leg of a triathlon in Hawaii. She’ll attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, in December.

U.S. actor and Jenny Craig spokesman Jason Alexander has achieved his weight-loss goal of 30 pounds in 18 weeks.

The award-winning actor, who has starred in television, theater and film, celebrates his weight loss in a song-and-dance musical commercial for Jenny Craig during which he dons a tiny black spandex outfit.
As the Jenny Craig spokesperson mentioned at the beginning of the conference, many men looking for diet options are in the same boat as Jason Alexander, but less likely than females to join weight loss programs. "Most men have concerns about Jenny -- eating just Jenny food," said Jason Alexander, "but that's not the case."
Besides saying that the Jenny food was "really good," Jason Alexander told the group that he never felt hungry on the plan. In fact, in the first few weeks, he said he "couldn't even finish all of the Jenny food." Jason Alexander joked that he was Jenny Craig's best client, since he hasn't found anything that he won't eat and let's them "tell me what the hell I need to eat and I'll eat it."
"I was fifty when I started this program, but I felt so much older," said Jason Alexander. "Now I feel as though I'm finally sneaking back into my forties." When That's Fit asked Alexander about his favorite foods on the menu, he said that the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake and the Chicken Fettuccine take the cake. The actor said he has even tried out dishes of his own. "The 'Jason Craig' cookbook should be out soon," he jested.

VH1 airs Bret Michaels special: Life As I Know It' reality series

VH1 will air a half-hour Bret Michaels special on Memorial Day in two weeks, but has pushed back the start of docu-series "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It" due to the rock star's recent health issues.

Michaels -- who has diabetes -- suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage on April 21 while recovering from an emergency appendectomy. He subsequently left the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ on April 30 and doctors have said they "really expect" him to make a "100% recovery."
"Bret is family to us and has always been a huge hit on the network, headlining several series and specials that have garnered record breaking ratings and made a strong connection with our audience."
"Production will resume when it is cleared by his doctors. If anyone can fight off illness and get back on his feet, it's Bret," said Olde.

"But in the meantime, in response to the flood of well wishes the network has received from Bret's fans, we'd like to celebrate Bret's recovery with this sneak peak special featuring the next chapter in Bret's story on VH1. The May 31 special will serve as a taste for Michaels fans to bridge the time until the show's launch. Michaels, the former singer with hair-metal band Poison, was recently hospitalized first by an appendectomy and then by a brain hemorrhage.

Mike Perham who helped Jessica Watson overcome some of the toughest moments during her journey around the world has hinted that the pair may have become more than just good friends.
Miss Watson, 16, returned on Saturday after 210 days at sea .

Mr Perham, from Potters Bar in Hertfordshire, has since spoken of his "love" for the sailor.
"I love the Jess who continued to surprise us with her ingenuity," he told Australia's New Idea magazine.
"Jess is the most passionate, courageous person I know. She is also very ladylike."
Mr Perham said that Miss Watson had begged him to stay "as long as possible" in Sydney and referred to her mother Julie as "my future mother in law". But he said the pair were "taking one day at a time."

Miss Watson has not commented on the blossoming romance, but her manager said that the pair were simply friends who both enjoyed sailing.
On her first day back on dry land Miss Watson took a walk on the beach and had a haircut. She turns 17 on Tuesday and will be celebrating with a private dinner.

Branca and Bia Feres - The Sexiest Twins in Sport

We often seen siblings in sport field, namely Marat Safin and Dinara Safina, Venus and Serena Williams of tennis, Michael and Ralf Schumacher from F1 racing, or Eli and Peyton Manning from American Football. But, rarely we seen a twins, especially the sexy one, compete in a match.

Beatriz (usually called Bia) and Branca Feres are Brazilian synchronized swimmers and synchronized spooners. They are identical twins who were born on February 22, 1988 in Brazil, and already represented Brazil in the 2007 Pan American games in synchronized swimming.



Well, I almost wrote Bianca and Bia Feres as the sexiest Olympians twins, but unfortunately they were failed to make through the 2008 Summer Olympic in Beijing. Luckily for them, this failure what made them famous, attracted the attention of numerous bloggers in the process.

This pair were foreign exchange students at Roosevelt High School in Seattle, Washington. When outside the match, their main activity is modelling. They have appeared in many magazine covers, including VIP and Maxim. They just 22-year-old right now, I hope they can make it in 2012 Olympic Games.

Divya was born on February 25, 1974 to Meeta and Om Prakash Bharti.She is opting for acting, she quit college, & landed a role in 'Bobbili Raja' (Telegu) in 1990 at just 16 years of age. This movie became a hit, and was dubbed into Hindi and released as 'Raampur Ka Raja'.



After several other hits in the South, she entered Hindi films with 'Vishwatma' in 1992 as her debut film, where she earned accolades for performing the song "Saat Samundar Paar". She appeared in more than 14 Hindi films between 1992 and 1993 - a world record for a newcomer.


She was in the ninth grade when she began to get film offers. Her face resembled to those days' superstar Sridevi and so got noticed by many directors and producers. At first her parents were hesitant, till Nandu Tolani offered her Gunahon Ka Devta. She was 14 and half at that time.


Meanwhile, she learned via a friend that Dalip Shankar wanted a new girl opposite Aamir Khan in Aatank Hi Aatank and Rudra Avtaar. By her parents permission, Divya signed both films. During those time, Kirti Kumar, Govinda's brother noticed the charming Divya at a video library. He followed her to her residence and then he called up the director Nandu Tolani, who resides in the next building and asked about her.


She was screen-tested by big names Boney Kapoor, Shabnam Kapoor, Shekhar Kapoor and Subhash Ghai. They all raved about her but no one signed her, there were rumor that it was her childish reputation had preceded her. In magazines, she had earned a name for being wild and crazy. In fact, for his big budget film Prem, Boney Kapoor signed her. Eight days later, she was out and Tabu was re-signed. Later Subhash Ghai too called her for Saudagar opposite Aamir Khan and 20 days later she was out and he signed Manisha Koirala and Vivek Mushran. By then, the rejection had affected fifteen years old Divya. Since she was already out of school, they would not accept her back. As result, she was forced to sit idle. Fortunately, One of the biggest producer of Telugu cinema, D. Ramanaidu landed up at her doorstep. He offered her , Bobbili Raja, a telugu film opposite Daggubati Venkatesh. Immediately, she got a Tamil Film and Rajiv Rai approached her for Vishwatma.


Barely 16, Divya met Sajid Nadiadwala in 1990 at Filmcity, when Sajid dropped by the sets to Meet his friend Govinda. Divya was shooting with Govinda Ahuja on the sets of Shola Aur Shabnam. It was Govinda who introduced Sajid to Divya. Soon, it became a routine for the unit to see Sajid on sets everyday.


As Sajid quotes in Movie June 1993 issue "Somewhere around 15 January 1992 Divya told me that she wanted to get married. The very next day she was tense because her name was being linked with all heroes. She wanted to marry and put an end to all these controversies. People expect me to have a relationship with everyone, she would complain.


Then on 20 May 1992, she got married to Sajid in the presence of her hairdresser Sandhya, the hairdresser's husband and a kazi at Tulsi apartments, Sajid's Versova residence. She converted to Islam and took on a new name, "Sanah". As Sajid quotes "We kept the marriage a secret because her career was at stake. Her producers would have panicked. In retrospect, I wish we had told the truth. Divya wanted to announce that we were married but i kept telling her to wait for a while. I wish I hadn't. Every time she saw the rushes of her films, she would sigh, "This will flop and people will ask me to quit". But that never happened, her films were hits. By the end of 1993, she would have completed all her assignments.


Around midnight 5 April 1993, she fell to her death off her husband's 5-storey apartment building, Tulsi 2 in Mumbai. There were numerous speculations by the media regarding her sudden demise, including the possibility of accidental death, suicide and even murder. Her dress designer is believed to have been present at the apartment at the time of death but the unfortunate event could not be avoided. Police closed the investigation into her death in 1998, but the circumstances of her death still remain murky.


Her body was released on 7 April 1993 and the funeral took place the same day. About 500 people attended the funeral of then youngest heroine of the silver screen, including Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Kamal Sadanah, Raj Babbar, Yash Chopra, Jimmy Nirula, Aruna Irani, Raza Murad, Vikas Anand, Venkatesh, Ram Mohan, Javed Khan, Raj Kanwar, Nitin Manmohan and Pehlaj Nehlani, maker of her first hit, Shola aur Shabnam. A large number of film personalities, including Hema Malini, Urmila Matondkar, Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa Shirodkar, Sonu Walia, Somy Ali, Babita, Karisma Kapoor, Sangeeta Bijlani, Tabu, Manisha Koirala and Asha Parekh, offered condolences to the bereaved family members at their residence.


She was scheduled to star in movies including Mohra, Laadla, Andolan, Angrakshak ,Kartavya (1995), and Vijaypath before her death. Her roles were recast.She had almost completed 80% of Laadla before her death but the entire movie was redone with Sri Devi, and footage of her performance on scenes that she had completed was released years later. The movie would have released in 1993 had she completed the movie but it was eventually released in 1994.


Her two final completed films, Rang and Shatranj, were released months after her death. These films—in addition to several films produced by her husband Sajid Nadiadwala—were dedicated to her memory.

BETTY WHITE, the 88 and 1/2 years old became the oldest host of Saturday Night Live. The veteran television actress Betty White hosted SNL for the first time in her illustrious seven-decade-long career. Saturday Night Live on the NBC which telecast on Saturday, May 8, featured performances from show alums Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph and Molly Shannon.

In fact, there was probably more at stake for the show, which has suffered this season from postelection ratings and creative depression.
As the others try to make Poehler more of a proper girl, White declares, "She's a lesbian." She declares this again, with slight variations, another dozen times.

As she suggested in her monologue, however, overexposure isn't a bad problem to have at the age of 88 - and a half.

In May 10, boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao is running for a congressional seat in the province of Sarangani, Philippines, opposing 61-year-old Roy Chiongbian.
